SAME SEX MARRIAGE

SAME SEX MARRIAGE= Legal marriage between two persons of the same gender

Civil Union= A category in which the law has created to recognize same sex couples have legal rights

OK so once again i have another controversial issue i would like to speak on.... SAME SEX MARRIAGE..are we for it or against it? In my opinion i am totally for it. If two heterosexual people can live a miserable long life together why shouldn't a gay couple?It's just a piece of paper that states your stuck with that person til the end of time. Iowa,Massachusetts,Connecticut,Vermont,California and Maine are legally permitted same sex marriage states. New Hampshire same sex bill was recently passed permitting marriage to go in effect after the new year is brought in. I don't understand why it is an ongoing battle with figuring out if civil union is allowable. Many advocates are taking a stand to legalize civil unions and same sex marriage. Same sex advocates fight for the right to have the same equality as a heterosexual couple.Health coverage, pension and more. For example: A heterosexual couple get into a very bad accident and the husband dies. Within his will all his prize possessions are left to his wife because she as his wife is the beneficiary. As a homosexual couple the same situation would play out differently because the government doesn't approve of this, so the persons significant other would be left with nothing. The debate all stems from religion. It is said that it is an abomination to be GAY,an act of ungodliness sin. Honestly we are not God i feel we should have no say in what another person wants to do with there life, we can determine no ones fate. If marrying there significant other will complete them, i feel we should not judge because we all sin and there is no such thing as a perfect person.
